The Old Primary School is a fine, character Victorian schoolhouse recently converted to provide the owners' accommodation and the two holiday units which have their own entrances, parking area, and use of a very large garden with lovely coastal and rural views. There are picnic benches, BBQ sets, loungers and games available. All linen is provided. Heating provided September to May.

  • Lounge/Diner (16'x15') includes dining table, dining chairs, coffee table, comfortable seating and a sofa (which converts to a bed which sleeps two people), TV and radio. 
  • The lounge also incorporates a kitchenette comprising modern base and wall units, sink, electric cooker, microwave and kettle. 
  • Double bedroom (12'x12') with double bed, built in wardrobe and vanity unit. 
  • Bathroom comprising low-level w.c., sink unit, bath with shower attachment.

Situated in Ludgvan which is ¾ mile off the main A30, 3 miles from Penzance, 6 miles from St. Ives and 2 miles from Marazion, the closest beach, overlooking St Michael's Mount. The Old Primary School is ideally situated for all the attractions in the area.

Ludgvan Village is one of the prettiest, unspoilt villages in West Penwith and is conveniently situated, being close to Marazion and about halfway between St. Ives and Penzance.
The location allows easy access to all the popular facilities of the area whilst still enjoying peace and tranquillity. The local pub, The White Hart, dates from the 14th century and serves excellent beers, wines and great food. Ludgvan Parish Church holds regular services and both the pub and church less than 200m from the accommodation. Penzance is a market town with a promenade and harbour front, with direct rail links to London and the rest of the UK. Penzance is also the gateway for the Isles of Scilly, with daily air and sea departures. Newlyn Harbour and Mousehole are both close by, with Lamorna cove and Porthcurno beach en route to Land's End.

St. Ives is an unspoilt, small harbour town with cobbled streets and beautiful views, and is a focal point for artists. It is home to the Tate Gallery, Hepworth Museum and Leach Pottery.  It has many excellent beaches: Porthmeor, Porthminster, Carbis Bay and Porth Kidney Sands. Dolphins often swim in the bay and seals even come into the harbour! St. Ives is a short drive away from Ludgvan and is served by the local bus service.
